1 – Yom Teru’ah – The blowing of the Shofar

            On this day the returning exiles offered sacrifices on a rebuilt altar – Ezra 3:6. Ezra also read the Book of the Law aloud – Neh. 8:2.

            This is also the beginning of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

2 – On this day the heads of families in Israel studied the Law – Neh. 8:13.

             This is the 2nd day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

3 – Yzom Gedaliah – The feast of Gedaliah – Zech. 7:3-5 / 8:19

            This is the 3rd day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

4 - This is the 4th day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

5 - This is the 5th day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

6 - This is the 6th day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

7 - This is the 7th day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

9 – Erev Yom Kippur -  Eve of the Day of Atonenment  / Kol Nidra - Its name is taken from the opening words, meaning "all vows".

            This is the 9th day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

10 – Yom Kippur – The Day of Atonement; On this day a new fiscal year cycle begins – Lev. 25:9- 54.

            This is the 10th day of the 10 days of Awe – Yamin Nora’im.

11 – 14 –Time to prepare for Sukkot. Build the Sukkah and buy the 4 spices.

14 – Erev Sukkot – Eve of the Feast of Tabernacles

15 – Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles – day 1 of 8

16 – Sukkot – day 2 of 8

17 – Sukkot – day 3 of 8; On this day Noah’s ark rested on the mountain of Aarat – Gen. 8:4.

            Traditionally from the 17-21 is called Chol Hamo’ed, the Intermediate Days.

18 – Sukkot – day 4 of 8; On this day Yeshua went to the Feast of Tabernacles – John 7:14.

19 – Sukkot – day 5 of 8

20 – Sukkot - day 6 of 8

21 – Sukkot – day 7 of 8; On this day Haggi received a prophecy about the glory of the second Temple –      Hag. 2:1; Yeshua called all who were thirsty for living water to come to Him – John 7:37.

            Traditionally this is Hosha’na Rabbah – the Great Hosanna.

22 – Sukkot – day 8 of 8; Shemini Atzeret; On this day Yeshua rebuked a self-rightous crowd and ministered to a woman caught in adultery – John 8:2/ 7:37.

23 – On this day Solomon sent the Israelites home after dedicating the Temple – 2 Chron. 7:10.

            Traditionally this is Simchat Torah – The joy of Torah in diaspora ONLY

24 – On this day Nehemiah and the Israelites confessed their sins to the L-RD – Neh. 9:1.
